I purchased this because my dog get loose stools and we were going on a trip to the beach and you can’t pick up loose stools with your regular poop bag so this seemed like the perfect solution. I thought I could just catch it but NO she wasn’t having that big ole thing behind her so we tried to use it to just scoop it up and it doesn’t work on grass, BUT IT WORKS PERFECT ON SAND!!! If you’re going to the beach this is the pooper scooper for you.

Love it except for one major problem
I've been using these for years. I had the last one for 8 years. When I first came across this scooper I read that a 10 yr old boy developed it and won a science fair for it. I really like it better than any other pooper scooper. It uses regular plastic grocery bags which is a good way to use leftover bags and means there's no extra expense for buying special bags. The only down side is it's difficult to scoop up without the aid of something to push the poop into the bag. Without having something to use, the "teeth" of the scooper can get stuck in the grass or weeds and not pick up easily. I fixed this by at first using a stick to push stuff into the bags and it worked great. Recently I bought a kid's rake and I use that not only to push poop into the bag but to also rummage around the ground to see if I'm missing anything. Even with this otherwise poor design feature I give it 4 stars because it's great as long as you use something to push poop!

I didnt have any problems using it as other reviews mentioned, its very simple and works like it should. Also absolutly no poop on hands or scooper, in fact you don't even have to to feel it at all like you do with just a bag. I love it! I only took one star because the end that does the scooping could be a little stronger but hasn't broken. So far great
